Foreign Companies (FC)

Foreign companies operating outside of Northern Cyprus can register as branches in Northern Cyprus and conduct their activities. Under the YŞ (Foreign Company) status, operations are exempt from taxes in accordance with the Double Taxation Agreement between Northern Cyprus and the Republic of Turkey (Agreement No. 49/1988). Local Companies (LC) 

Local or foreign capital can establish and operate companies under the MŞ (Local Company) status in Northern Cyprus. Foreign legal entities or individuals can also be shareholders in these companies.
